Eminent New Energy Scientist Dr. Eugene Mallove Killed
Dear
friends,
This
email brings some sad news. One of the world's foremost proponents of new
energy was killed on May 14th. Dr. Eugene Mallove was the founder and editor
of the magazine Infinite Energy to which I have subscribed for
almost a year. The magazine provides a wealth of excellent, scholarly
discussions of new energy theories and devices. We recommend it on our
Resource List at www.WantToKnow.info/resources#newenergy.
Dr.
Mallove also worked at MIT where he uncovered serious manipulation of data on
the cold fusion experiments there in 1989. This led him to resign his
position at MIT over 10 years ago and begin researching the truth behind cold
fusion and other new energy discoveries, and eventually led to his publishing
the first issue of Infinite Energy in 1995. In regards to this,
he was one of the witnesses for Disclosure Project. Below is his quote which
we list on our UFO cover-up summary at www.WantToKnow.info/ufocover-up10pg#mallove:
MIT Chief Science Writer, Dr. Eugene Mallove
I was the Chief
Science Writer at the MIT news office when the cold fusion story out of Utah
broke on March 23, 1989. It turns out the cold fusion effect was real. In
fact, what Pons and Fleischmann found was only the tip of an iceberg. There
are huge quantities of technical literature published by proponents, and a
much smaller amount by the people who found so-called negative results….One
day while at MIT, I inadvertently was looking through some piles of paper by
physicists doing their repeat of the Pons-Fleischmann experiment. To my utter
astonishment, I can remember sitting at my desk and actually seeing two
sheets of paper, one dated July 10 and another July 13. The July 10 control
experiment showed in the raw data excess heat. But then, on July 13, it was
shifted completely. It was altered. Clear fraud—no question. I asked for a
review at MIT. I got nowhere. Yet today, MIT data is held up. There has been
an extraordinary abrogation of legal responsibility at the Patent Office and
the Department of Energy on the matter of cold fusion. There is serious
criminal activity going on that ultimately must be rooted out if the cold
fusion and new energy revolution are to go forward. pp. 544-546. See
Dr. Mallove’s website http://www.infinite-energy.com
I can't help butwonder if Dr. Mallove's death might somehow have been
contrived, as I know has happened to many others. For more on this, see our
new energy summary at www.WantToKnow.info/newenergysources Below, I've
included the email I received informing me of his death. Let us be inspired by the great work Dr. Mallove has
done and carry his torch forward, knowing that together, we can and will
create a better world. Take care and have a good week ahead.
With very best wishes,
Fred

Eugene Mallove Killed in Property Dispute
Standard bearer of the Cold
Fusion torch, editor of Infinite Energy magazine.

Dr. Eugene Mallove is dead
It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Gene Mallove, who was
killed on May 14, 2004 apparently due to some sort of involvement with a
property dispute. It is considered by the police to be a homicide and an
investigation is underway.
Gene is survived by his wife Joanne, son Ethan and daughter Kim. No funeral
arrangements are known at this time.
Gene Mallove, who, in his 1991 book "Fire from Ice: Searching for the Truth
behind the Cold Fusion Furor," was the first to courageously and boldly
express the truth behind cold fusion, long before any science journalist even
dared to ask questions that challenged the prevailing view. For 15 years,
Gene maintained the cold fusion "torch" at great personal
sacrifice, which initially drew many to learn the truth behind cold fusion.
Gene's generosity and commitment to a better world will be forever
appreciated. Christy Frazier, the office manager at Infinite Energy (Phone
603-485-4700), or Steven Krivit at New Energy Times (310) 721-5919 may be
contacted, however this is the limit of what is known at this time.
