Dear friends,
I'd like to give you an exciting status report for WantToKnow.info and invite you to consider ways in which you might join in transforming our world. Both the website and email list of WantToKnow.info are steadily growing. In the last year the website has received over a million visits, averaging nearly 3,000 visits a day. On the fifth anniversary of 9/11, we had a record spike of over 27,000 visits in one day! We were amazed at the amount of positive press coverage of the 9/11 cover-up around the anniversary. For more on this, click here. Out of over 100 million website now on the Internet, WantToknow.info is now ranked in the top 60,000 websites!
The WantToKnow.info email list now has more than 3,000 subscribers from over 60 countries! The list is growing steadily and includes a good number of professors, politicians, and journalists who are dedicated to transforming our world. We receive many supportive emails -- like the one above -- from people who are thankful for the reliable, verifiable information we provide and for our deep commitment to transforming our world.
If you do a Google search on "WantToKnow.info," you will find that over 50,000 webpages now link to us. Largely because of this, the website now ranks high in many searches. For instance, if you type "100 mpg car" in Google (no quotes necessary), you will find that we are ranked #1 out of more than a million results! We are also ranked #2 for "brighter future," #1 for "9/11 cover-up" (and almost all the major cover-ups), and even ranked #4 on "inspirational resources"! If you search "I want to know" (no quotes), we are #1 out of 600 million results! About half of all of our visits come through search engines, which is particularly valuable as many of these people (like Robbie above) knew little to nothing about all the cover-ups before visiting.
We are especially excited to have just added a major new section to the website providing awesome news summaries which are very user friendly. You can easily find this new section by going to the top of any webpage. In the navigation bar there you will see a new category under the title of "News." If you place your cursor over that link, a drop down menu appears giving easy access to lists of excerpts from amazingly revealing news articles on a rich variety of topics, some of them with intriguing subtopics as well. On each of these new webpages, you will find highly revealing one-paragraph excerpts of powerful articles from major media websites. The key sentence or two is always highlighted for those who prefer to skim through many articles. As usual, links are always provided to the full article on the major media website where the it is posted. If you have time for nothing else, I invite you to at least take a look at the first few amazing articles on our "All News" list at https://www.WantToKnow.info/newsarticles.
This new section was made possible by a database we've set up, which contains all of the hundreds of one-paragraph summaries we've sent out in recent years and more. This database is an amazing tool which gives us incredible flexibility in making the best of our material easily available to you and to any who visit the website. The new database also makes possible RSS feeds, which several subscribers have requested. Every one of our news summary pages now has an RSS link, through which you can receive automatic news updates.
On the financial front, donations are up from last year, yet WantToKnow.info and PEERS continue to operate on a shoestring budget. We've received just over $10,000 so far this year.
