You Can Make a Difference
PEERS Urgently Needs Your Help to Dig Us Out of a Hole

Dear WantToKnow.info friends,

Please support us

PEERS and WantToKnow.info urgently need your help to pull us out of a deficit of over $12,000 for the year. As Google has used the pretext of "fake news" to move WantToKnow.info and other alternative news websites much lower in their rankings, the number of visits we're getting is down over 50% from a year ago and donations from these visitors is down, so we really need you to step up and show you care.

"No single website has had a bigger impact on my personal transformation than the site WantToKnow.info, because while it has a plethora of information which once frightened and angered me, it also showed me a way to alleviate my fear through personal service to others. Thank you for your inspiration to go beyond my fear and accept what is, especially when I don't like it."  ~~  Laila S.

Despite the lower visit numbers, WantToKnow.info still receives over 1,500 visits a day. Caring people around the world every day continue to have their eyes opened to deeper realities and to be inspired to make a difference by our work. As a result, many are now taking action to play their part in bringing about major positive change on our planet. Key influential people have even written books and created websites based on the powerful information available at WantToKnow.info.

Yet for all of our accomplishments over the 18 years since WantToKnow.info first started, we still operate on a shoestring budget of about $80,000/year with a very small staff. I am the only one working full time on all of this. We pay three very part-time contractors small amounts for their invaluable contributions, and a few volunteers have made significant contributions, yet that's it. We'd like to secure some good grants, but so far have not had success with this.

Of the over 14,000 subscribers to our email list, less than 5% have given donations this year. Thank you so much to each and every one of you who did contribute, and special thanks to the nearly 160 supporters who are giving valuable monthly contributions. Yet we really need more of you to support us in the great work.

"You inspired me today. I took the liberty of using several of your articles as the basis for a project for the College Statistics Class I teach ... also a sneaky way of introducing WantToKnow.info to my unsuspecting and unaware students. This should be a real wake up call! THANK YOU!!!!!!!"  ~~  Kathleen G."

We are all used to getting information free on the Internet. This is only possible because most websites are loaded with advertisements from corporate sponsors who mine your personal information. Not only are these advertisements and data mining bothersome, they often support the corrupt corporate hierarchy we are trying to expose and change.

If we are going to change this old greed-based paradigm filled with annoying ads and censored news to one that provides unbiased information and supports all of us in transforming our lives and world together, each of us is going to have to shift our way of thinking around money and find a sense of joy in making donations to support the causes we believe will make a difference.

Are you willing to step into the attitude of gratitude around giving and find joy and satisfaction in helping us to grow, to thrive, and to build a better world in an even bigger way? Please help us, particularly if you've never donated before. Will you step up and make a difference? Monthly donations are particularly helpful in allowing us to plan for the future.

Just give your bank a call and they will help you. It's quite easy. "Thank you guys for your website. I've been researching this stuff for months and have been disappointed by most websites on the subject. They either go too far, pull up information that makes them look crazy, or quite simply don't realize what the solution is. Fighting negativity with negativity is pointless. Your site is a beautiful work of organization, the best videos, the real solutions. You are the only site I've donated to."  ~~  Quinten C.

As ever more people start directing a small portion of their earnings into organizations like PEERS and others that are doing powerfully transformative work in our world on shoestring budgets, we can make an even bigger difference. When we individually and collectively transform our feelings of scarcity around money and life in general, I am convinced we will see some big changes and a lot more abundance for all in our world. Thanks for whatever support you are able to offer.

"I am very impressed with your web site. It is the most complete, well structured and positive information center that I have found on the net. It would be wonderful to translate your site."  ~~  Bernadette L. in Germany

May this coming new year of 2019 bring lots of rich transformation and ever more love and meaningful connection into our lives and our world. And thank you for the part you are playing in all of this. Together, I have no doubt that we are making a big difference.

With deep gratitude and best wishes for the holidays and for a rich and fulfilling new year ahead,
Fred Burks for PEERS and WantToKnow.info

"I really appreciate the informative emails that I receive, both highlighting important news that is left out of mainstream media and positive steps folks are taking to addressing the many ills our community faces. I'm impressed by your ability to address the negative without becoming jaded or cynical. I'm really thankful that you are able to juggle all this and still remain positive. It really touches on the model that can set things in positive directions – that we can't respond to negative patterns with more negative patterns, but rather with positive energy and hope and confidence in the love available within our world. Blessings on your ongoing work."  ~~  Ross R.
