PEERS Explorers
Connect Personally With Other Explorers of PEERS

Dear friends of PEERS and WantToKnow.info,

PEERS Explorers

Two awesome subscribers to the PEERS WantToKnow.info list came over for a very enjoyable personal visit last week.

Though these two live not far from me in the San Francisco area, I am almost always impressed when people from all over the world come to visit at how fascinating these visitors are. Most of our subscribers have led very rich lives and have many engaging stories to share.

One of these two shared how she has almost no one in her personal life with whom she can have meaningful conversations about all of the major cover-ups going on in our world and what we can do about it.

As I've heard this from many subscribers around the world in occasional emails, this led us to come up with a great idea. Why not use meetup.com to form groups where our subscribers can meet together in person with each other? Our WantToKnow.info email list now has over 14,000 subscribers from more than 160 countries, so it's likely that at least a few live somewhere near you.

If you are interested meeting in person with new, like-minded friends, I invite you to go to the website at meetup.com and sign up if you haven't already. Then do a search for "PEERS Explorers" to see if someone has already set up a group in your area. If not, consider creating your own meetup group, particularly if you live in a large population center.

To create your own group, click on "Create a Meetup." Where it then asks what your meetup is about, click on "Explorers and Seekers." Then name your group [city] PEERS Explorers. If you are in a town or small city, consider entering a larger town or city near you. This way, anyone searching will easily be able to find you.

Note that though it's free to create a Meetup account, join a group, or attend a meetup, setting up a new group costs $10/month, so it may be best to only do this if you live in a large population center. Even then, there is no guarantee others will sign up and be interested, but if you are in a larger city, it might be a great way to connect with some cool people in person.

For those who might prefer to connect in other ways, feel free to post on the WantToKnow.info facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/WTK.info. Besides reading each other's posts, you can propose connecting by Skype or other online video services there. Others can check this link to see if they are interested. If there is enough interest, we could create a separate facebook page for this.

Another way to connect is through WantToKnow.info's online readers forum, where anyone who signs up can post information and ideas. You can find a link to this forum under the heading "Readers Forum" in the left column of any page on WantToKnow.info. You can also access it directly at this link. We hope those who are interested will enjoy these opportunities to connect with others who are interested in working together to transform our world.

Thanks for your interest in this important work and for joining us in building a brighter future. Together, we are making a big difference. And have a good day and a great holiday season ahead.

With very best wishes for a transformed world,
Fred Burks for PEERS and WantToKnow.info
