Email Messages Censored

Dear friends,

Our email messages are likely being censored again. Yesterday I sent out one of the most important messages I've ever sent and all four of the gmail addresses I use to subscribe filtered the message to spam. Strangely some gmail subscribers did receive the message, yet even more strange, for the first time many responses to me from readers who received the message were also filtered to spam.

In case you didn't get this excellent essay on unbelievable odds in recent terrorism events, you can find it at the link below. This is vital information that can help transform our world.

Thanks to a couple caring subscribers, I found some things I can do which appear to have helped to prevent messages being filtered to spam. Besides some technical changes to our server, I've experimented with removing images, taking out the "share this" icon, using small letters instead of caps for the beginning every word in the subject line, and more. This appears to be working, as in the last month very few messages have been filtered to spam.

The glaring exception is that for both the email I sent on the war on terror on Nov. 27 and the one I sent yesterday on terrorism odds, all four email address were filtered to spam. Is there a filtering mechanism for terrorism messages? And now even responses are being filtered.

Thankfully, there is an easy way to see if you have missed any message. Every message sent out to the WTK list is posted to our website, and one webpage indexes all of these messages. We usually send out emails twice a week, almost always on Monday or Tuesday and then Friday. If you are having a problem with WTK emails being filtered, you can bookmark the below link as a favorite.

There is another way to stop filtering. Most email services have a way to "white list" certain email addresses, so that they are never filtered. Each service does this differently, so if you don't know how to do this, you might do an Internet search or contact your email provider to learn how to do this. You can then put our sending email address of emaillist (at) peerservice.org on that list.

Please note also that though I try to send as few financial appeals as possible, we're still about $7,700 in the red for the year, so I'll likely be sending out several more appeals for support this month. For those who have already contributed, thank you!!! For those who really can't afford it, please just ignore these appeals. And for those who haven't donated and have the means, please support this important work that is making a significant difference in our world. Take care and enjoy the holiday season.

With best wishes for a transformed world,
