A secret program, known as AAWSAP, was created in 2008 with support from Nevada Senator Harry Reid and became the largest UFO investigation ever undertaken by the U.S. Government. Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., is one of a bipartisan group of lawmakers pushing the Pentagon for more information on alleged secret programs regarding UFOs. A group of military whistleblowers testified under oath that they’ve seen unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and accused the government of being part of a cover-up. GOP congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, who chairs the House Oversight and Government Reform's Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, chaired a panel Tuesday on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), another name for UFOs. Air Force veterans Jeffrey Nuccetelli and Dylan Borland, as well as Navy veteran Alexandro Wiggins, spoke at the hearing, along with journalist George Knapp, a prominent figure in the UFO disclosure community. Rep. Eric Burlison of Missouri showed the hearing mysterious, never-before-seen footage of “an orb or an unknown object” off the coast of Yemen on October 30, 2024, being struck by a Hellfire missile. The object continued on its trajectory after being struck by the missile. “That’s a Hellfire missile smacking into that UFO and just bounce [sic] right off, and it kept going,” said Knapp. “There’s a server where there’s a whole bank of these kinds of videos that Congress has not been allowed to see — that the public has not been allowed to see,” Knapp added, hinting at a cover-up. Borland said he experienced “sustained reprisals” after blowing the whistle on unexplained sightings as a U.S. Air Force veteran. Air Force veteran Dylan Borland testified publicly for the first time Tuesday that he became a whistleblower after facing retaliation, medical malpractice and workplace harassment following his reports of UAP encounters. Speaking before the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Borland said the fallout damaged his career after he came forward about “experience with craft and technologies” that don’t belong to the U.S. “The truth needs to be known,” he said. “I am a federal whistleblower, having testified to both the Intelligence Community Inspector General and All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office.” Borland worked at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia from 2011 to 2013, conducting 24/7 operations, when he encountered a 100-foot “triangle” flying near the base. “This craft interfered with my telephone, did not have any sound, and the material it was made of appeared fluid or dynamic,” he said. Borland described seeing what he thought was a weather balloon while on a cigarette break one night. While taking a walk toward the unidentified light, Borland said he saw the light fly across the base and a triangle “manifest around the light.” He said his phone overheated and died as he took in the strange phenomenon. “It was between one to two stories thick ... I could never see the top of it,” he added. Borland also described the retaliation that he and others faced, which he said convinced him to come forward in March 2023.

In mid-2014, during training flights off the coast of Virginia Beach, Virginia, F/A-18 pilot and U.S. Navy Lieutenant Ryan Graves began to notice something strange. The radar returns looked off—phantom blips moving with unfathomable speed and precision. The objects on one occasion finally came into view. Graves reported seeing a dark gray or black cube inside a clear sphere, between five and 15 feet in diameter, coming within 50 feet of their jets. Over the next year, Graves’s squadron recorded sightings of unidentified objects almost daily. Sometimes the objects flew in loose formations. Other times they traveled alone. They had no exhaust, no visible propulsion, no wings. Some of these craft—now classified as UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena)—appeared to be capable of transmedium travel, meaning they are able to move from air to sea without slowing, splashing, or emitting heat. They challenged every assumption held by aerospace engineers and radar operators. GOP Rep. Anna Paulina Luna told Joe Rogan she has viewed evidence of interdimensional beings on Earth. Matthew Brown, who claims the Pentagon has a secret program to collect footage of UFOs, is the first of several whistleblowers who will soon come forward to release new information about unexplained technology, podcaster and journalist Jeremy Corbell says. Brown, a former national security professional, appeared this week on Corbell and George Knapp’s “Weaponized” podcast to say the Defense Department has covertly amassed an archive of UFO videos and pictures from military sources under a program called “Immaculate Constellation.” Secure government servers purportedly contain UFO images and lengthy clips the public has not seen. Brown says the objects he saw in the videos aren’t necessarily extraterrestrial or nonhuman, but he described them as “exotic and unexplainable” and beyond conventional technology. “We are talking thousands of videos and photos ... that the American public hasn’t seen of these advanced craft we call UAP that are of unknown origin,” Corbell said. Corbell said he hopes Brown will be allowed to testify before Congress about what he discovered. In the meantime, the podcaster said, he and Knapp have already interviewed several other whistleblowers who have new information about the craft. “We have already recorded with other firsthand whistleblowers that we have yet to release. So, I can promise you, people are coming forward, an army of people are coming forward,” he said.

A former NASA flight surgeon has spoken out for the first time about a classified sighting he claims to have witnessed more than 30 years ago. Dr. Gregory Rogers, who served as NASA's Chief Flight Surgeon and a U.S. Air Force major, revealed to the Daily Mail that in 1992 he viewed security footage of what he described as a 20-foot "flying saucer" inside a Cape Canaveral hangar. Rogers said he kept quiet for over three decades but decided to come forward following his recent retirement from the Department of Defense. He said the craft he observed appeared seamless, with no visible rivets or seams. He was shown the footage by another Air Force major who approached him unprompted. The major locked a room and displayed a video feed showing the saucer-shaped object levitating. The craft was surrounded by personnel in lab coats and hazmat suits. The craft tilted in a way that indicated it did not rely on traditional propulsion methods, as there were no visible jets or propellers. "All of a sudden it just lifted up, as smooth as could be," Rogers said. "It rotated clockwise, then counterclockwise, and tilted 45 degrees while hovering." The vehicle bore "U.S. Air Force" markings, which Rogers found startling. "I'm thinking, this is ours? Someone had to design and manufacture the vehicle I saw on that video." The US has been accused of hiding evidence of UFOs from the public during a bipartisan congressional hearing on Thursday (May 1). A number of experts spoke to government officials ... at the briefing on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) - as it is becoming more commonly referred to these days - about the possibility of alien life. Research physicist Dr Eric Davis said the US government has been operating a secret program recovering crashed UFOs since the 1950s when Dwight Eisenhower was president. Dr Davis worked as a subcontractor and then a consultant for the Pentagon UFO program since 2007. He claimed that the program began after the discovery of a crashed UAP in 1944. Since then he said that a lot of the technology recovered over the years from these wreckages have been secretly moved to Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, without any congressional oversight or approval. A declassified Cold War-era file from the CIA has gone viral over its coverage of a supposed clash between Soviet soldiers and a UFO. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the CIA acquired a 250-page KGB report recounting the events that transpired after a platoon fired at a flying saucer over Ukraine. The report claims Soviets conducting a training exercise in Ukraine spotted a “low-flying spaceship in the shape of a saucer” soaring above their heads. During the encounter, one of the Soviets fired a surface-to-air missile, which struck the UFO and sent it crashing to the ground. “It fell to Earth not far away, and five short humanoids with ‘large heads and large black eyes’ emerged from it,” the report claims. After escaping the debris of their ruined ship, the beings huddled together and “merged into a single object that acquired a spherical shape,” the surviving soldiers recalled. “In a few seconds, the spheres grew much bigger and exploded by flaring up with an extremely bright light. At that very instant, 23 soldiers who had watched the phenomenon turned into ... stone poles,” the report states. “Only two soldiers who stood in the shade and were less exposed to the luminous explosion survived,” it added. The KGB allegedly took custody of the “petrified soldiers” and the ruined spacecraft, which were transported to a secret base near Moscow.

UFOs are swarming Earth’s skies and demonstrating capabilities so astonishing that they must represent technologies that are advanced beyond any available on Earth. Claims of mysterious trespassers in American airspace are taken very seriously by the U.S. government for reasons of national security. That’s why, at Congress’s behest, the U.S. Department of Defense established its All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) in July 2022. This office investigates reports of UFOs under the more generic rebranding of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs). AARO’s work, however, isn’t really about chasing down extraterrestrial invaders so much as it involves standardizing reporting methods, curating and analyzing datasets and assessing possible threats posed by UAPs. AARO has reportedly deployed the Gremlin System—a multisensor networked system for detecting, tracking and characterizing UAPs—in an undisclosed location. What is the status of this project? "Gremlin is envisioned to be a test bed for sensor evaluations and sensor fusion," [said AARO director Jon Kosloski]. "We expect it to be a “living” system, always evolving. We will be swapping in and out new sensors and algorithms for various approaches. We want to document what we learn and share that with the public and other organizations inside the government. The hope is they can take what we have learned and replicate that."

For decades, reports of unidentified craft, usually airborne, often over sensitive military and nuclear facilities across the United States (and around the world) have bedeviled officials. The recent drone incursions over military installations in New Jersey, Virginia, and other locations highlight the problem. To date, the Pentagon says it does not know who is controlling these objects. We do not from where they are being launched or on whose behalf. More worryingly, there appears to be a “capability gap” between what our drones can do and what these still-unidentified objects can do. David Grusch, a former high-ranking intelligence official with the National Geospace-Intelligence Agency ... asserts the US government is in possession of an unknown number of crashed and retrieved extraterrestrial craft, including “nonhuman biologics.” According to a 2024 Yougov poll, “60% of Americans believe the U.S. government is concealing information about Unidentified Flying Objects.” In 2024, Sens. Schumer and Rounds introduced the “UAP Disclosure Act,” which would have mandated the release of nearly all relevant classified materials. When introducing the legislation, Schumer said, “The American public has a right to learn about technologies of unknown origins, non-human intelligence, and unexplainable phenomena.” The bill, perhaps unsurprisingly, failed to make it out of Committee.
